Coast Guard Commendation Medal
Awarded to members of the U.S. Coast Guard, Coast Guard Reserve, and to other members of the United States Armed Forces serving in any capacity with the Coast Guard, who distinguish themselves by heroism, outstanding achievement or meritorious service above that normally expected and worthy of special recognition.

Coast Guard Commandant Letter of Commendation
This ribbon is awarded to any member of the Armed Forces of the United States, serving in any capacity with the Coast Guard, for an act or service resulting in unusual or outstanding achievement, whose performance is less than that required for the Coast Guard Achievement Medal.

Dept of Transportation Outstanding Unit Award
This decoration is considered the highest unit award of the Coast Guard and is presented to those Coast Guard units which perform outstanding service to the Coast Guard as a whole.

Coast Guard Unit Commendation (Operational)
The Coast Guard Unit Commendation may be awarded by the Commandant and designated subordinate awarding authorities to any unit which has distinguished itself by valorous or extremely meritorious service not involving combat (but in support of Coast Guard operations), which renders the unit outstanding compared to other units performing similar services.

Coast Guard Bicentennial Unit Commendation
The Bicentennial Unit Commendation was awarded by the Commandant to all Coast Guard members (including selected Reservists, civilians, and auxiliarists) who serving satisfactorily during any period from June 4, 1989 to August 4, 1990.

Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal (x3)
The Coast Guard Good Conduct Medal is awarded on a selective basis to enlisted members in the Regular Coast Guard or the Coast Guard Reserve for proficiency in rating, sobriety, obedience, industry, courage and neatness for three years.

For serving on active duty during a time of war as designated by the president of the united states.

Humanitarian Service Medal (x2)
The Humanitarian Service Medal is awarded to members of the Armed Forces who distinguish themselves by meritorious direct participation in any significant military act or operation of a humanitarian nature approved by the Department of Defense.

Coast Guard Special Operations Service Ribbon (x7)
The Coast Guard Special Operations Service ribbon is awarded to members of the U.S. Coast Guard serving in any capacity with the Coast Guard, not involving combat, after 01 July, 1987, and when that operation is not recognized by another award.

Coast Guard Sea Service Ribbon
The Coast Guard Sea Service Ribbon is awarded to active duty members of the Coast Guard who satisfactorily complete a minimum of 12 months cumulative sea duty.
